UPDATE: Fort Hood roads closed due to flooding have reopened

UPDATE: Fort Hood Directorate of Emergency Services officials have reopened Turkey Run Road at Turkey Run Creek and Tank Destroyer at Turkey Run Creek. 

These roads were closed to traffic on Tuesday due to flooding.

The Fort Hood Directorate of Emergency Services has reported some public roads due to flooding on the military installation.

Turkey Run Road was closed at the Turkey Run Low Water Crossing hard stand because of high water. Barricades were put up and patrols put in place on the east and west sides to prevent traffic from attempting to cross.

Tank Destroyer Boulevard was closed at the Turkey Run Low Water Crossing hard stand near the Comanche Shopette due to high water.

A portion of Mohawk Road near the Motorcycle Instruction Course is flooded and barricades were place at the east and west end.

Residents were advised to use caution driving across any low-water crossings.
