UPDATE: According to the Waco Police Department, the next of kin for the fatal motorcycle crash Tuesday night on Valley Mills Drive has been notified of the death.

The motorcycle driver has been identified as 19-year-old Nelson Llano Jr., of Waco.

Investigators have determined that “speeding” on the part of the motorcyclist is the cause of the crash.

The department says this is twice in the past two months that speeding and unsafe operation of the motorcycle has been the contributing factor to the death of the driver.

Witnesses to Tuesday night’s crash say the bike was swerving and changing lanes at a high rate of speed. The crash which occurred on February 2 was also caused by a speeding/racing motorcyclist.
