Woodway Public Safety Department Officers arrested 32-year-old registered sex offender Adam Navarro of Waco on Thursday for Indecency with a Child – a third-degree felony.

Woodway detectives received information that Navarro had exposed his genitals to a female pedestrian younger than 17 years of age in the Walmart parking lot located at 600 Hewitt Drive on December 1, 2018. This happened after he called her over to his vehicle to ask for directions.

The circumstances were similar to those stemming from Navarro’s arrest on February 7 for Indecent Exposure in the H-E-B parking lot located at 9100 Woodway Drive. The victim was able to positively identify Navarro from a photo lineup and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Officers arrested Navarro on February 14 and once again placed him in the McLennan County Jail, where he is awaiting bond.
