Veterans One Stop in Waco celebrated an early Thanksgiving Day by having a big feast on Friday.
Veterans, military and their families enjoyed the traditional meal, but many say the third annual event is not just about good food.
“There is another intrinsic value that’s brought to these people. And whenever we leave here, we all feel satisfied in every possible way because we have comradery again. We have that family again,” says Marine Corps veteran Mitchell Kronwinkler.
Organizers say over 700 enjoyed the feast last year. They are thankful for all the food and drink donations.
