A 26-year-old Waco man has been charged with five counts of possessing lewd videos of children.
Matthew Richard Hightower was caught in an operation conducted by the Child Exploitation Unit of the Texas Attorney General’s Office.
Internet forensic work led to Hightower as investigators tracked the videos shared from a device with an IP address connected to his home.
A search turned up lewd videos of children on a digital storage device with several devices seized for examination by the Attorney General’s Digital Forensics Unit.
Hightower was booked into the McLennan County Jail
Hightower could face up to ten years in a state jail if convicted.
