Waco-McLennan County reports 17 new COVID-19 cases, one additional death


WACO, Texas – The Waco-McLennan County Public Health District announced 17 new cases of COVID-19 Sunday, bringing the total number of cases to date to 8,000. 

There are 418 estimated active cases, and 7,475 estimated cases who have recovered.

Thirty-nine cases are hospitalized. Of the 39 hospitalized, 28 cases are McLennan County residents. Fifteen cases are on ventilators.

One additional death has been recorded. There have been a total of 107 deaths in McLennan County.
