Waco parks get QR-Fit signs

Local

The city of Waco is trying to get you out the door by offering free workout routines and the only thing you need is your phone.

Eleven parks in Waco now have QR code signs to encourage fitness.

All you have to do is use the camera on your phone to scan the code, then a fitness video pops up with a different work out.

It also allows you to choose the intensity level you want.

The city of Waco hopes the signs will encourage people to get out more and enjoy the park trails.

List of parks using QR Fit:

Kendrick Park

Alta Vista Park

Bells Hills Park

Council Acres Park
