Monday Evening Forecast with Chief Meteorologist Mike LaPoint

The first significant cold front of the season will surge through all of Central Texas by early afternoon Tuesday. Breezy north winds will usher in strikingly cooler air. Late-afternoon temperatures will be falling into the 70s across much of the region.

A few showers and isolated thunderstorms may accompany the frontal passage. There will be mostly clear skies Tuesday night and very comfortable conditions, with lows the 50s.
