A vehicle chase starts in Bruceville-Eddy and ends in Hill County.
Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers attempted to stop a white Toyota passenger car on Wednesday morning for failing to drive in a single lane.
The Toyota was traveling northbound on Interstate 35 near Mile Marker #316, south of Bruceville-Eddy.
The driver failed to stop and attempted to evade the trooper. The driver continued northbound through McLennan County and into Hill County.
The vehicle came to a stop after a tire blow out occurred when the driver struck a concrete barrier near Mile Marker #366. It was later discovered the Toyota was reported stolen.
The driver was arrested and charged with felony evading and misdemeanor unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and failure to identify. The driver was transported and booked into Hill County Jail.
Troopers are still working on identifying the female driver.
