A naked woman claiming to be Jesus Christ is arrested at a Bosque County park.
Bosque County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Soldier’s Bluff in Laguna Park on May 10.
Deputies were advised by the Corp of Engineers that a naked woman with a shaved head was in the park area, and was screaming at volunteers who work in the park.
The woman, identified as 39-year-old IV Patricia Adams, threatened to steel their personal items from their RV’s.
Chief Deputy Clint Pullin, Sgt. Casey Wilks, Deputy Clint Ryals, and DPS State Trooper Nick Cantu responded to Soldier’s Bluff and made contact with park officials. It was discovered the woman ran into one of the unlocked travel trailers belonging to one of the volunteers and locked the door so no one could enter.
Pullin, Wilks, Ryals and Trooper Cantu surrounded the trailer and made entry with the owner’s keys. Adams was found in the master bedroom in the bottom of the closet. She was wearing clothes that belonged to the owner of the trailer.
Adams was removed from the trailer while deputies searched to see if items were removed or missing from inside of the trailer. While they were checking the trailer, Chief Deputy Pullin spoke with Adams – who identified herself as Jesus Christ.
Pullin then made contact with Mental Health and Mental Retardation out of Waco. It was advised they had been looking for Adams for three weeks to speak with her.
Pullin informed MHMR she was going to be transported to the Bosque County Jail. Adams was booked on one charge of Criminal Trespass of a Habitation which is a Class A Misdemeanor. She was also charged for Criminal Trespass for entering Soldier’s Bluff due to it being closed to the public. Both charges were given a bond of $5,000.
The trailer owner’s clothes were returned back to the owner and no items were found missing or stolen.
