A 23 year-old Waco man accused of slamming his girlfriend’s head into a wall so hard that it dented in the wall has been arrested and booked into the McLennan County Jail.

Because of past incidents, Delintre Dontre Dotson has been charged with continuous violence against the family with the additional charge of interfering with an emergency call.

The second charge alleges he took the victim’s phone and slammed and broke it when she attempted to call for help.

Waco Police Department spokesman Patrick Swanton says officers were called to a home in the 1700 block of Dallas Circle at 3:00 a.m. June 14th.

On arrival they found the female victim injured and were told her boyfriend had come to the house and that an argument broke out that turned violent.

The suspect was gone when the officers arrived, but following their investigation they obtained and arrest warrant for Dotson who was picked up on Sunday.

He remained in the McLennan County Jail Monday with his bond set at $120,000.
