Texas pilot accused of running 6 brothels

A United Airlines pilot was recently locked up and charged with running six brothels.  Investigators say he had more than a dozen women paying him cash every week. 

Prosecutors say when Bruce Wallis wasn’t flying planes, he was promoting a prostitution ring. Wallis is a pilot for United Airlines and now faces serious charges for trafficking women. 

He’s charged with aggravated promotion of prostitution and engaging in organized criminal activity.  Tracie Tanner is also charged in the case.

Wallis made his first court appearance this afternoon and faced the allegations of running six brothels? A big operation across the city with 20 women he allegedly paid $400 a week.

The pilot and now defendant calls Kingwood home? No one answered at his residence this afternoon.

United Airlines released the following statement:

“We hold our employees to the highest standards and are assisting the authorities in this matter.  We have removed the employee from his flying duties.”
