Six people are dead after a plane crash in Kerrville, Texas. The FAA says the plane went down just off Sheppard Rees Road, which is about six miles northwest of the Kerrville Municipal Airport.
The FAA says the plane went down around 9am Monday morning as it prepared to land. The twin-engine Beechcraft took off from West Houston Airport earlier the same morning.
So far, the names of the victims have not been released and the cause of the crash is unknown.
FAA investigators are on their way to the accident site, and the National Transportation Safety Board has been notified. The NTSB will be in charge of the investigation.
