Woman dies in Leon Co crash

The Department of Public Safety reports a woman was killed and a man and child were injured when their vehicle rolled over Sunday evening near Buffalo in Leon County.

Troopers report a 2004 Ford Explorer was southbound on I-45 at mile marker 174 when it went off the left side of the main lanes, spun and rolled.

The driver and a seven-year-old passenger were buckled in and survived, being transported to Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple and McLane Children’ s Hospital in Temple respectively.

Their injuries were not believed life threatening.

The other passenger, identified as 41 year old Enas Bsroka of Houston was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.
