A California woman has been desperately searching for her stolen dog for over a year.
Now they may have gotten a break in the case after hearing the dog was re-sold near Central Texas.
This pup has been serving as an emotional service dog for the woman’s son.
Miranda Cole says her Italian chihuahua Sunny was taken from her car in February 2016. She left a window cracked while running into a WalMart to pick up food for Sunny.
When she returned, her pooch was poached.
Ever since, the Los Angeles-area woman has been desperately searching from state to state.
Cole recently received a tip Sunny was re-sold in Texas and believed to be with new owners somewhere between Bell County and Houston.
The family offered a nearly $4,000 reward for her return.
The disappearance took a huge emotional toll since.
