An 18-year-old Waco man is being held on $350,000 bond, accused of biting a man in the face resulting in serious injury and ramming a car with women and children in it with his vehicle.
Keavan Andre Davis was arrested Monday on two counts of aggravated assault threatening with a deadly weapon and one count of assault causing serious bodily injury in connection with an incident that occurred April 13.
Waco police say it started when a woman and her children including a newborn and her new boyfriend were leaving a game room at 12th and Waco Drive.
As they walked out, they were met by the woman’s old boyfriend, identified as Davis.
Police say he attacked the new boyfriend, biting him on the upper lip and nose, causing serious injury.
The victim was transported to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Hospital, where his injury was determined to be serious enough that he was transferred to Baylor Scott & White in Temple and taken into surgery.
When the woman and her mother were going back to their home, they found Davis waiting for them.
They attempted to drive away, but were rammed by his vehicle.
They also told police he waved a handgun at them.
They continued to drive and managed to elude their attacker and contacted police.
Officers conducted their investigation, obtained a warrant and Davis was arrested Monday.
