Man threatens to shoot up a Taco Bell restaurant

College Station police have arrested a 21-year-old man after reports from employees at a Taco Bell restaurant reported he had pointed a hand gun at him and threatened to ” shoot up the place” when they would not serve him and his female companion at closing time.

Police were called to the restaurant in the 900 block of William D Fitch at 1:11 a.m. Friday.

When told they were closing, the pair got upset and the threats were made, with a handgun pointed at them as the pair drove away.

Police then say the man, identified as 21-year-old Kenneth William Reese, was involved in a minor traffic accident at Rock Prairie Road and the Highway 6 west frontage road.

Officers working the accident communicated with those working the incident at the Taco Bell and determined that the same people were involved in both.

Reese was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and driving while intoxicated.

Brazos County Jail records indicate Reese had been booked into the jail twice earlier in the year, once for an assault charge and .once for possession of a controlled substance,  possession of marijuana and unlawfully carrying a weapon.
