A 17-year-old Copperas Cove High School student has been arrested and is facing charges after marijuana laced brownies turned up inside the high school.
Destiny Ramsey was arrested Tuesday after police obtained an arrest warrant following lab work done on the brownies.

She is being charged with delivery of marijuana five pounds or less but more than one-fourth ounce in a drug free zone.
An arrest affidavit filed in support of the warrant indicates the actual incident occurred in October 2017.
The court paper says that the school resource officer was told of a student having a medical issue at the nurse’s office and found the student admitting to consuming a brownie laced with marijuana.
The student claimed another student gave it to him, with the officer then finding a packaged brownie wrapped in aluminum packaging in the student’s bag.
The student told the officer that Destiny Ramsey had sold her three brownies laced with marijuana in them inside Copperas Cove High School.
The remaining brownie was sent to the Austin Crime Lab where it tested positive for the presenbce of THC.
The officer then sought the arrest warrant and made the arrest.
