The future of a Central Texas football coach and athletic director has been decided.

A contentious meeting took place in McGregor on Friday night as school administrators talked about parting ways with Judd Thrash – but not before going into Executive Session.

When the board returned, they handed their decision to fire Thrash on a printed handout, which caused a lot of reaction from community members.

McGregor ISD Superintendent James Lenamon said in the statement:

“On February 22, 2019, our school board approved a voluntary separation agreement with Judd Thrash that resolves the situation to the parties’ mutual satisfaction. I am not permitted to comment further.”

The board delbirated for just under and hour before they came back to give their answer.
