Fire units from Bellmead, Lacy Lakeview and Waco responded to a house fire Wednesday morning.
The fire was reported at a home on Lafayette Circle in the older Oaklawn section of Bellmead.
Waco fire units responded at 7:44 a.m. to assist.
No injuries were reported at the scene.
The homeowner says the fire was discovered around 7:00 a.m. and everyone got out of the house even before the smoke alarms went off.
It was initially reported as an attic fire.
Cause of the fire was under investigation at mid day Wednesday.
Those displaced by the fire were planning to stay in a hotel.
