Once again, a team of Groesbeck and Mexia Police working with the Limestone County District Attorney have made a dent in the drug supply in their county.
At 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, members of the Joint Criminal Apprehension Team executed a search warrant at 513 South Rusk Street following an investigation into the sale and use of illegal narcotics at that residence. The team was assisted by K-9 Opal.
Cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana were found at the scene.
Three people were taken into custody. Their names were not released as of Wednesday afternoon.
Law enforcement also credited District Attorney Roy Defriend and his staff in helping to make the operation a success.
