Pro-Life Waco and Care Net Pregnancy Center held a rally Saturday at what they believe might be a construction site for the new Planned Parenthood building. 

The current building is at Ross Ave. and the new construction site is at W. Hwy 6 and Sanger Ave. 

The rally was part of the 218 rallies nationwide to demand federal defunding of the Planned Parenthood. 

The Planned Parenthood in Waco has performed abortions from 1994 till 2013. John Pisciotta with Pro-Life Waco says during that time about 19,000 abortions were performed. 

He says he has been trying to figure out what this new construction site is for for about two months and says it is impossible to find out. 

In Nov. 2016, the Planned Parenthood in Waco obtained a renewed license to perform abortions. However, there is not evidence to support whether the clinic has been performing abortions since then.

Pro-life rally had a message for the Planned Parenthood: “Never Again in Waco.”
