Temple police say a man suspected of breaking into a Temple convenience store while it was closed was arrested when he returned to the same store as a customer later the same day.

Brandon Keith WIlliam Ziegler was arrested at noon Sunday at the Circle K store at 101 West Adams in Temple when a store clerk said he looked like the man caught on surveillance cameras before opening time.

Police spokesman Cody Weems said officers were first sent to the store at 5:56 a.m. when the alarm went off.

They found the front door had been broken and merchandise removed from the store with the burglar caught on video.

Officers went back during the noon hour after the clerk called.

There they fund the 34-year-old Ziegler who appeared to be intoxicated and took him into custody.
