A 44-year-old man is facing  charges of “trafficking of a person” after being accused of transporting an underage girl in his van to have sex.

Lester William Walker was arrested by Waco Police Monday following an investigation that started with a CPS referral regarding a minor female who had become pregnant.

The Crimes Against Children Unit of the Waco police department got the case in July.

An affidavit filed with the court says the actual incident occurred in May of this year.

In a forensic interview, the victim gave detailed information about a man she knew as ” Lester” who caused her to become pregnant.

She said the man had paid money to a woman for the right to have sex with her.

According to court papers, the man pestered and followed her over the course  of several days, saying he eventually convinced her to go with him.

She was transported in a white van to what she described as a “park near South Terrace”

She provided police with information on the rather unique vehicle that police tracked to Williams  and later picked Williams out of a photo lineup.

Because of the nature of the encounter, the charge was filed as trafficking.
