Three arrested in teen shooting investigation

Killeen police have arrested three people in connection with the shooting of  a 15-year-old boy Sunday night.

18-year-old Preston Harrington faces a charge of Deadly conduct and is in the Bell County jail with a bond set at $100,000.

22-year-old Dante Hervey is held on a Aggravated Assault complaint. His bond is set at $505,000.

44-year-old Donna Hervey is accused of Possesion of a Controlled Substance/Intent to deliver. Her bond is $50,000.

The victim is still  in critical but stable condition at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple where he was transferred after first being taken to Darnall Army Medical Center

Police were called to the 3200 block of Longview Drive by a 9-1-1 call reporting a shooting.

On arrival they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.

Killeen police spokesperson Ofelia Miramontez said that through their investigation, several suspects were identified by witnesses at the scene.

Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division report finding those suspects and have taken them into custody as of Monday morning.
