Beuershausen was arrested by the Texas Rangers on Friday, and is charged with sexual assault of a child under 17 years of age. The ranger in charge of the investigation says no information surrounding the investigation will be released at this time.

The investigation is still active and ongoing, and the integrity of the investigation is a priority.

Beuershausen previously coached the Academy Lady Bees to the Class 3A State Championship in 2017. The ceremony held to present the championship rings in September was postponed due to the rings being stolen. Brendon Jace Bolsins and Marcus Jerome Knotts were named as persons of interest in this case.
