The Woodway case opened earlier in the week when he is accused of starting up a conversation on a social media account that he thought belonged to a 16-year-old girl, but which was really an account run by an undercover police officer.

Woodway police say he was made aware of the fictitious female’s age and acknowledged that he could get into trouble if he got caught.

He also requested pictures of the minor before asking to meet at a location in Woodway.

Officers stopped him when he arrived at the agreed-upon location and he was taken into custody without incident.
