A 31-year-old woman has been arrested in California and sent back to Copperas Cove to face charges of luring a 16-year-old boy to her home and having sex with him.
Yadira Liz Burgos-Candelario was named in a Coryell County grand jury indictment and was arrested in California on the warrant.

She waived extradition and was brought back to Texas Monday.
The indictment specified a bond of $25,000.
The arrest affidavit said the victim’s mother had become concerned when her son had not been acting himself for a couple weeks and after some discussion he told her the two had sex at the woman’s home on Constitution Drive.
The complaint filed in the case stated the victim underwent a forensic interview at eh Children’s Advocacy Center of Central Texas where he repeated the story.
The affidavit specified that he and the suspect had been messaging each other via the app called “Whatsup” discussing a situation involving the victim’s older brother.
He said during the conversations she began asking him questions to manipulate him and telling him she could teach him about women.
She convinced him to come to her home at 3:00 a.m. so they could also continue talking about his brother.
The court papers also stated that during the police investigation of the allegations they interviewed another woman that the suspect had told her she had had sex with the boy.
That woman said she did not go directly to the police because she did not believe the story.
Police filed the original court papers seeking an arrest warrant in November of 2017.
Burgos-Candelario has since been booked into the Coryell County Jail.
