Woman charged with stabbing boyfriend

News

A 19-year-old College Station woman remained in the Brazos County Jail Monday charged with stabbing her boyfriend during a Friday night argument.

Bond was set at $15,000 for Holly Breann Boyd on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

College Station police were called to a residence at 306 Redmon Drive at 9:06 p.m. Friday when the victim called 9-1-1 to report he had been stabbed and needed help.

It was initially reported that he had been robbed, but as the investigation unfolded, it was determined that he had been in an argument with his girlfriend that turned physical.

Boyd was accused of grabbing a knife, first threatening to stab him,  then following through with the threat.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with a stab wound to a shoulder that was not considered life threatening.
