The Baylor offense stayed red-hot on Tuesday night with a 10-4 win over Dallas Baptist at Baylor Ballpark.
The Bears fell down 2-0 in the first inning, but would rally to tie the game at two, in the 4th.
After The Patriots took back the lead in the sixth Baylor tied the game with a Davion Downey homerun, and took the lead on a Kyle Harper RBI basehit at 4-3.
A Davis Wendzel homerun stretched Baylor’s lead to 5-3, and after DBU closed the gap to one with a basehit in the 8th Baylor responded with five runs in the bottom of the 8th to put the game out of reach.
Baylor will return to action on Friday when they battle Texas A&M at the Shriners College Classic, at Minute Maid Park in Houston.
