The Bears came from behind twice on Friday night to beat West Virginia 6-5 in their Big 12 opener.
Baylor fell down 2-0 in the first innings, but erased that deficit in the bottom of the inning, and took a 3-2 lead after two.
West Virginia struck for three in the top of the 5th to take back the lead at 5-3. Baylor would scratch out a run a piece in the last three innings, punctuated by a Davis Wedzel basehit in the bottom of the ninth to win it 6-5.
Late Friday Night Baylor announced that game two of the series will be moved up to 1:05pm.
