The Bears kick off their season tonight at the Ferrell Center, facing Texas Southern, after playing two scrimmage games. The Bears have a very young team, and tonight’s matchup will be a good test, as Texas Southern returns six seniors.
“They’re a great team to play, they usually win 20 plus, they’re in the NCAA tournament,” Scott Drew said.
“Texas Southern is always good, they return two seniors, they’re like grown men, like 22, 23…” King McClure said.
