The Baylor Mens Basketball team trailed by as many as nineteen points in the second half, before clawing back to get an 84-83 win over Texas in Overtime at the Ferrell Center on Wednesday night.
Mario Kegler had a game-high 24 points including two crucial free throws in the final seconds to seal the overtime victory over the Longhorns.
Baylor had four players finish in double-figures, Kegler (24), Devonte Bandoo (18), Jared Butler (15), and Mark Vital (13).
King McClure made his return to the line-up in the game playing just seven minutes, but didn’t attempt a field goal.
The Bears will travel to Manhattan, Kansas on Saturday to take on the conference leaders in Kansas State.
