Baylor’s football team plays their annual Green and Gold game on Saturday, and there will be a lot of rookies seeing time, since multiple veteran players are not 100% healthy. However, junior quarterback Charlie Brewer will still take center stage at McLane Stadium, after leading the team to the Texas Bowl victory last season. Even though the situation is not ideal, Matt Rhule looks at the situation as the glass half full.
“We have a lot of guys who are banged up, older guys, so we’re getting a chance to really work younger players,” Matt Rhule said. “So you see some guys getting better, and really stepping up.”
