Baylor had three golfers under par in round one of the NCAA regional at the Traditions Club in Bryan on their way to a minus-six team score.
The Bears were led by sophomore Cooper Dossey who shot a 4-under 68. Matthew Perrine and Garrett May also finished under par.
Texas A&M currently holds a three-shot lead over Baylor at -9.
