Fresh off their best postseason run in program history Baylor Soccer was back at work on Wednesday preparing to build on that in 2018.

After everything the team went through last year, from injuries, to tough losses they know that you don’t just wake up in the lite eight. The hard work begins on day one.

“We didn’t just show up in the elite eight,” Jobson said. “There were a lot of things we needed to go thorough to achieve that. There’s no guarantee that if we did that we’d end up there again. We want to look back at the end of the year and say we did everything we could and left everything on the field, as opposed to man I wish we had done something a little bit differently. That starts today.”

Senior Sarah King is ready for this 2018 team to make their own mark, and put what happened in 2017 behind them.

“We remember the success of last season but we don’t want to harp on it too much,” she said. “We want to kind of direct our season in a new direction so to speak, and create our own 2018 team.”

The Bears will hold their first scrimmage on August 10th against Sam Houston State.
