LAS VEGAS. Nevada (FOX 44) — The 5th ranked Baylor Men’s Basketball team suffers their first loss of the season with an 86-79 defeat against No.16 Virginia in the Continental Tire Main Event.

Baylor got off to a fast start in the game and led by three at halftime, but the Cavaliers outscored Scott Drew’s team 30-7 in the first 10 minutes of the second half to put the game out of reach for good.

After a slow start offensively, freshman Keyonte George led Baylor in scoring with 20 points. LJ Cryer (19 points), Adam Flagler (15 points) and Caleb Lohner (11 points) all finished in double figures as well.

The Bears will be in action on Saturday, November 19th as they will take on No. 8 UCLA
