Charlie Brewer has started all four games this year at quarterback, and led the Bears to their first conference win over Kansas. Brewer completed 19 of 27 passes for 221 yards and 3 touchdowns on Saturday. Jalan McClendon took over at quarterback at the very end of the fourth quarter, and completed 1 of 2 passes for 36 yards. Matt Rhule talks about why he left Charlie in the game.
“…I have so much confidence in Jalan McClendon, and Charlie is a special guy too, so when you have two special guys, when you have a chance to play them we’re going to play them both…” Matt Rhule said.
