Baylor’s Langeliers named Series MVP

Baylor Catcher Shea Langeliers has already made quite an impact in his short time with the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team, as he was named MVP of their five-game series with Chinese Taipei.

Langeliers batted .300 in 10 at bats during the series, but played some stellar defense behind the plate.

Langeliers was one of the 26 players to make the roster cut on Monday afternoon. His Baylor battery-mate, however, Cody Bradford was a roster casualty, not making the 26-man roster.

Bradford made two appearances going five-innings allowing just a single hit, and striking out five.
