The Baylor Volleyball team will host their first-ever NCAA Tournament match, at the Ferrell Center, on Friday night when they welcome in Miami of Ohio at 7:00pm.

Hosting the first and second rounds are just part of the history this team is making in 2017, notching a program-best 2nd place conference finish, and while they were elated tohear their name called on Sunday night, the work began in pretty short order for Big 12 Coach of The Year, Ryan McGuyre and his team.

“That Sunday selection show, is the favorite day of the year for me,” he said. “Each time just being together as a team and know that we’ve accomplished something to move on. The Turnaround is very quick, I’m very tired already. But it’s easier that we’re not worrying about hotels and busses and flights and meals on the road.”

Big 12 Freshman of the Year, Yossi Pressley, said this team feels good and is focused on preparing for what the Redhawks will be bringing to Waco, without over complicating things.

“Just figure out the things that they do, and what we need to do,” she said. “That’s basically it.”

The Bears and Redhawks will get going on Friday night at 7:00pm from the Ferrell Center.
