The Texas Sports Hall of Fame inducted their 2019 class tonight, including NFL household names, Jason Witten and Andre Johnson. Witten holds the NFL record for the most receptions by a tight end in a single season with 110, in addition to a single game with 18. The 11-time Pro-Bowler talked about coming out of retirement, to play another season with the Dallas Cowboys.
“There’s something inside you, there’s a fire, and for me, the fire was too strong,“ Jason Witten said. “I had a great experience in the booth, I saw a different perspective, I saw the league, from getting the opportunity to see 31 other teams.“
