Matt Rhule spent Monday in San Antonio, speaking to coaches and Baylor alum’s about his program and his plans for the future.
The day started at the Texas High School Coaches Association Convention, where Rhule was able to spend time with high school coaches from around the state, sharing knowledge about his team and the game of football.
Monday night Rhule was at the quarterback club in San Antonio, just the latest in a long line of stops that allows him to share his visions and meet Baylor Alumni. While he’s racking up the miles he said it invigorates him for the season that is right around the corner.
“I’ve been hanging around the High School coaches in the state for the last three days,” he said. “Last night had a tremendous former letter-winners event, to make sure we spent some time with the people that came before us, and gave themselves to make sure Baylor’s the place that it is. To be here tonight among all the people that love Baylor University, and love Baylor Football and just talk about all the great things that our kids have done, it’s fun and really invigorating as we get closer to the season.”
The Bears open fall practice on Friday August 3rd.
