Rangers Willie Calhoun Fractures Jaw After Being Hit by 95 MPH Pitch


SURPRISE, AZ – Willie Calhoun suffered a major setback yesterday, after being hit by a 95 MPH pitch in the mouth, fracturing his jaw. It has not yet been determined how long Calhoun will be out, however, he underwent surgery today.

“Man, we saw him covering his face,” Todd Frazier said. “And then it was just silence, for a good minute or two.”
