COLLEGE STATION — Texas A&M was left out of the college football playoff as the number 5 team in the College Football Committee final rankings.
The Final top-6 rankings are as follows:
- Alabama
- Clemson
- Ohio State
- Notre Dame
- Texas A&M
- Oklahoma
The Aggies will play former Texas coach, Mack Brown and North Carolina in the Orange Bowl on Saturday January 2nd at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
