Tiger Woods Practices in Austin for Dell Technologies Tournament

Sports

Tiger Woods hit the green today, as he’s preparing for the WGC-Dell Technologies Championship in Austin.  The 14 time major championship winner went to Austin Country Club to work on his swing, trying to get back to number one.

“Well it was a lot easier to get to number one when I first came out,” Tiger Woods said.  “I had no points, that’s the way golf tournaments are, basically make the cut, I was in a rise and role rankings. So that’s what I ended up doing, ended up getting off to a good start in my career, won a few tournaments, and was able to ascend to number one.”

Woods was a house hold name in no time when he started his career, and talked about the difference between getting to number one and staying at number one.

“Now if you ask what the difference is,” Woods said.  “Getting to number one was much easier than staying there, staying there is hard.”
