The Crusaders beat their first three opponents 206-28, averaging 59 points per game. This Saturday, UMHB faces Southwestern in their home opener, and coach Fredenburg has learned a lot about the team in the first three games.
“I think that we are very talented and especially at receiving, our receivers and secondary, our receivers are as good as we’ve ever had collectively,” Pete Fredenburg said.
The Crusaders are thrilled to finally be playing at home, after opening the season with three straight road games. Coach Fredenburg can’t wait to see the crowd on Saturday.
“I just think it’s interesting if you watch video of us playing in years past, and you see the crowd especially the first game,” Pete Fredenburg said. “…I think that not doing so well against Texas Lutheran is a little bit of being road weary, I mean they’re ready to be home.”
